Some things to remember before heading out to catch some sick waves:
- Wear sun protection like Zink
- Learn surfing etiquette, don’t steal another surfer’s wave.
- Check the surfing report to see which beach has the best conditions for you
- Don’t surf alone. It is best to surf with a group and make sure there is a lifeguard on duty.
- If you cut or scrape yourself, get out of the water as soon as possible. Blood attracts sharks and you could put yourself and other swimmers and surfers in danger.
