Your personal information

You can ask whether we hold your personal information, request access, ask for correction or deletion, object to processing or withdraw marketing consent. Confirmation of whether we hold your information is free, subject to adequate identity verification. Objections, correction requests and withdrawal are free. We explain any applicable prescribed record-access fee first. Routine newsletter unsubscribe does not require an identity document.

Company records under PAIA

Use the Information Regulator's official Form 2 and send it to the contact above. Identify the record, the right you wish to exercise or protect, why the record is needed and your preferred access format. Provide authority if acting for someone else. Ask us for assistance if needed.

PAIA decisions are ordinarily due within 30 calendar days. A lawful extension may be up to a further 30 days with written reasons and remedies. Access is subject to lawful grounds and applicable prescribed fees; we explain any fees before charging them.

Our PAIA manual is being finalised for owner adoption. Contact us for assistance while the approved publication is prepared. This does not prevent you from making a request.

Guide and complaints

The Information Regulator's PAIA resources include the guide in multiple languages, forms and complaint procedures. A private-company request has no compulsory statutory internal appeal. A complaint can generally be lodged using Form 5 within 180 days of refusal or non-response, subject to applicable rules. Court relief is also available.
