Sources and practical details

Our new experience planning guides link to the operators’ official information and show when the details were checked. A source check is not a claim that we personally visited a venue. Confirm prices, opening hours, age guidance, accessibility and availability with the operator before travelling or booking.

Where a fact is unconfirmed, we ask you to check with the operator rather than supply an invented price, duration, rating or opening time.

Dates and archive stories

Articles retain their publication dates. Stories more than two years old are labelled as archive material. An old event story is not a current listing, and a website redesign does not make an old venue review newly verified.

Partnerships and booking links

Content identified as sponsored or produced in partnership carries a label. Affiliate links are labelled when an approved commission relationship applies. An ordinary direct operator link does not imply a commission or a commercial relationship.

Photography

New experience imagery uses real licensed photographs with visible creator and source credits. Where a photograph shows the neighbourhood or setting rather than the venue, its caption says so. Older contributor photographs remain attached to their original articles and are not automatically cleared for new campaign use.

Editorial responsibility

Our publishing process can use automated tools. Responsibility for the site’s editorial decisions and corrections remains with Cape Town Is Awesome. We do not present generated scenic images as photographs of real Cape Town places.

Suggest a correction

Email info@capetownisawesome.com with the page URL, the detail that needs attention and a reliable source if you have one. We review corrections before updating the affected content. We do not promise that an operator’s details will remain unchanged between checks.
